Dr. Athina Doulaveris is a dedicated and experienced optometrist with over a decade of providing full-scope, comprehensive eye care. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of ocular conditions—from vision-related issues to chronic medical conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye disease, and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Doulaveris earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2014. During her training, she completed multiple internships with a strong focus on ocular disease, which sparked her deep passion for medical optometry. She believes in the importance of conducting thorough eye exams and takes pride in providing her patients with clear, easy-to-understand explanations of their diagnoses and treatment plans. Her goal is to empower patients to take an active role in their ocular health and adhere to care with confidence.

Outside of the office, Dr. Doulaveris enjoys spending time with her daughter, diving into a good book, and discovering new restaurants and cafés across Long Island.
