Hi, I'm Matthew Aderiye! My accounting journey began in Michigan in 1971 with Ernst & Young. In 1973, I transferred to the Lagos, Nigeria office, where I served as the audit engagement partner for several multi-national clients in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Wholesale, Non-Profit, and Financial Institutions. I eventually became the Regional Managing Partner before retiring in 2002.

In 2021, I relocated to Indianapolis. Instead of spending my time playing golf, my passion, I renewed my Michigan CPA license and obtained an Indiana CPA license. To update my knowledge of US Income Tax, I earned professional certifications as a Personal Income Tax Preparer, Professional Business Tax Preparer, and Professional Tax Preparer in 2022. I spent the early part of the 2023 tax season preparing tax returns at H&R Block. In 2024, I founded MDA Bookkeeping and Tax LLC and registered as a Verified Pro with Intuit TurboTax.
