Set on 8 acres of land, this serene B&B in a Civil War–era house is a mile from the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and 14.6 miles from Pickering Creek Audubon Center.
Featuring 4-poster beds and hand-carved mahogany furniture, the 6 genteel rooms offer private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Some have fireplaces and/or whirlpool tubs, and 1 has a private porch.
Breakfast consists of 3 courses and is served in the sunroom, the elegant dining room or on the covered patio. Drinks and loaner bikes are complimentary. Other amenities include a seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub, plus a garden. Children are welcome by prior arrangement.
